I went to my Chapter 7 341 creditor’s meeting today and there were approximately 20 people all with attorneys except me. One had 3 clients and each client had to have a continuance being the trustee did not have all the necessary documents. He gave the lawyer an opportunity to supply the documents on the first two and lost his patience with the attorney on his last client, and stated “I don’t have the time for this” and set that client for a continuance, too.

One attorney actually put the value of his client’s property for a hundred thousand less than it was listed on the MLS. The trustee was actually looking at the MLS on his laptop and reamed the attorney and his client and set it for a continuance. When they left, you could hear the client yelling at the attorney in the hall.
