This service is available for all Washington
State counties, including Lincoln County. If you file in Lincoln
County, you will not need to appear in court nor take parenting
classes as required by all other Washington State counties.
Description:
Do It Yourself Documents has helped hundreds of clients complete
their documents for a Petition to Establish Custody/Residential
Schedule/Parenting Plan and Child Support Order since
its founding in 2001 with many of them filed in Lincoln County
where clients did not have to appear in court as required by
all other Washington counties.
Everything is done through the mail regardless of where you
live, with the only requirement being either you or your
spouse is a Washington resident. Military personal can
use this option if you consider Washington State as your home
base regardless where you or spouse may reside.

You may opt to file in the county the child (ren) live in
or Lincoln County with this service, our price is the same;
however, Lincoln County does charge an additional $20 fee for
this option.
Online Petition
to Establish Custody/Residential Schedule/Parenting Plan and/or
Child Support Order Includes:
- If you file in Lincoln County no court appearance
is necessary and no parenting classes as is required in
all other Washington counties. If you choose to file
in another county we will send you all your paperwork along
with instructions of when and how to file.

If you plan to file in Lincoln
County we will include the "Lincoln County Special
Verification Form" which must be signed by each
spouse in front of a notary. This verifies
to the court that what is contained in the documents
is true and correct WITHOUT having to appear
before a judge.
However, if you prefer you
may come to our offices and sign all documents
after we complete them and we will notarize
them and take care of all the filing at no additional
costs.

you plan to file in Lincoln County and avoid
a court appearance one form must be signed in
front of a notary by both parties, therefore

opt to come to our office and sign your
papers and have us file your papers with
Lincoln County at no additional cost to
you.
- We will send you your documents for
signing and you may return them to us for
us to file your papers with Lincoln County
- We will send you your documents for
signing along with instructions of when
and how to send your documents to Lincoln
County to complete this simple process
If you are filing
in the county your child(ren) reside in we will
send you your documents by either secure email
or priority mail (your choice) for you to take
your documents to your District Superior Court;
however, you will need to appear in court.
Lincoln County if you choose to avoid a court appearance.
