At present, we are looking for paralegals already established in their area who would like to generate new sales and service opportunities with little or no effort. The following is a brief description of what we are offering.

DIYD offers document preparation services and through this Affiliate program, Affiliate will be preparing documents for customers in their state. Affiliate will make available to DIYD a list of services they wish to have advertised. DIYD will create a page on www.doityourselfdocuments.com offering those services by the Affiliate. Affiliate will be responsible for providing to DIYD a list of questions for each service to be offered. DIYD will be responsible for creating a questionnaire which will then be made available to the general public on www.doityourselfdocuments.com. Each Affiliate in a particular state will be listed on that state’s questionnaires and customers will choose which Affiliate they want to prepare their documents.

Questionnaires will be received through DIYD’s secure email program. The customer will have the option on a questionnaire to request a specific Affiliate prepare the documents. If a specific Affiliate is selected then the questionnaire will be immediately forwarded to that Affiliate for document preparation. If no specific Affiliate is selected on the questionnaire then DIYD will send the questionnaire, on a rotation basis, to the Affiliates in the state of the customer. DIYD will collect the document preparation fee and will pay to Affiliate 75% of the fee collected. DIYD and the Affiliates of any state will determine the fees to be set for each document preparation service offered.

If an affiliate is participating through the 6-month free option and we receive another application for an affiliate in the same area that the first affiliate is located in, we will contact the first affiliate and give them the option to become a full member or bow out allowing the other applicant to participate in the affiliate program. Affiliates participating through the trial program may upgrade to a full member by paying the annual fee of $1,500.

Anyone that wants to be an affiliate of DIYD (hereinafter referred to as “Affiliate”) will be required complete and submit to DIYD an Affiliate application. Affiliate will be required to submit with the application proof that that they have background sufficient to provide the services that will be offered. DIYD has determined that if prospective Affiliate does not have some type of legal background they will not be successful. The following backgrounds will qualify Affiliate:

1. Associates Degree in Paralegal or Legal Studies;
2. Bachelors Degree in Paralegal or Legal Studies;
3. Certificate from a Paralegal or Legal Studies Program (If prospective Affiliate holds a Certificate only, they may be required to provide proof that they have worked in the legal field in order to become a Affiliate;
4. Law Degree (whether practicing or not);
5. LPO Certificate.

We will review each application and accept only one applicant within a 10-mile radius of another. We reserve the sole right to use an internet mapping program of our choice to decide the 10-mile limit and our decision is final. If during our search we find you are within another affiliate’s area we will contact this affiliate and let them decide whether or not to allow you to become an affiliate.

Each affiliate selected to participate may participate for a 6-month period at no charge, allowing him or her to “test-drive” the affiliate program without incurring any fee. At the end of the 6-month period to stay in good standing the applicant would be required to pay the annual fee of $1,500 or be removed from the affiliate program. Payment of the $1,500 will continue the agreement for an additional year.

If an affiliate is participating through the 6-month free option and we receive another application for an affiliate in the same area the first affiliate is located in, we will contact the first affiliate and give them the option to become a full member (by paying $1,500) or bow out allowing the other applicant to participate in the affiliate program. Affiliates participating through the trial program may upgrade to a full member by paying the annual fee of $1,500.

Our future plans for Do It Yourself Documents are to offer franchises in all 50 states. Once a franchise becomes available in your area this agreement will terminate at the end of its 1 year contract date.
