About the author

Mark T. Patterson II practiced with the original author of the Washington Divorce Guide for 17 years, following graduation from the University of Washington in 1980 and Gonzaga Law School in 1983. He has served as an attorney in private practice, as well as an arbitrator appointed by the Snohomish County Superior Court, primarily in the field of domestic relations law.

Mr. Patterson is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Federal District Court in the Western District of Washington, and serves on numerous committees for the Washington State Bar Association.
